Bring your current HHI membership card to the door of the American Cinematheque’s recently renovated Grauman’s Egyptian Theater (6712 Hollywood Boulevard, near Las Palmas Avenue). Thanks to HHI board member, and American Cinematheque Director, Barbara Smith, you will receive a special Christmas present of free admission for you and a guest to see Hollywood Forever, on either Saturday December 4 or Sunday December 5 at either 5:00 pm, 7:00 pm, or 9:00 pm. No RSVP is required.

The film was commissioned by the Cinematheque for the Egyptian’s Lloyd E. Rigler Theater and runs 55 minutes. It was directed by Variety’s chief film critic and noted documentary director Todd McCarthy and is presented by Kodak. Narrated by Sharon Stone, it features interviews with 21 celebrities including Mel Gibson, Selma Hayek, Steven Spielberg, Gloria Stuart, John Travolta, and Clint Eastwood, as well as archival footage of Hollywood Boulevard, and film clips from the past 100 years of cinema.

The film will be showing regularly (with an admission charge) beginning in mid-December and will be a highlight for those who want to learn more about Hollywood.
