If you haven’t seen the newly reopened Hollywood Heritage Museum yet, here’s a great chance to do so, at the annual HHI membership meeting, 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 9, 1999. The meeting will be at the museum at 2100 N. Highland Avenue across the street from the Hollywood Bowl, with plenty of free parking.
Updates will be given by HHI Board members on preservation issues, the museum, Wattles Mansion and Gardens, upcoming programming by the Silent Society, a new series of guest lectures at the museum, the development of our own web site, and the annual business report of the corporation, including fundraising and membership development. HHI members will have the opportunity to ask questions of the board concerning HHI. We will also be looking for members’ ideas on how to celebrate the 20th anniversary of HHI next year.
The meeting is open to all current members and will be followed by an exciting selection of rarely seen short films and festive holiday refreshments.
