In-Kind Donations

Hollywood Heritage gratefully welcomes in-kind donations of books, DVDs, photographs, and other media related to film and Hollywood history.  These generous contributions play an important role in supporting our mission to preserve, protect, and promote Hollywood's history, architecture and artifacts.

Donated materials may be:​

• Added to the museum's permanent collection or archives for research, educational use, for future exhibitions; or 

• Offered for sale in the museum store, with proceeds directly supporting preservation efforts, programming, and public education initiatives. 

All in-kind donations are thoughtfully reviewed to ensure they align with the museum's collection guidelines and current institutional needs. ​

 

We are especially interested in:

• Photographs and documentation of Hollywood properties (organized by address in our archives)

• Memorabilia or records connected to Hollywood history and the individuals who shaped it​

 

Please note:

• We are unable to accept all offered items

• Donors are responsible for delivery or shipping of accepted materials unless otherwise arranged

• Hollywood Heritage reserves the right to determine the final use of all donated items 

 

Drop-offs can be made during regular museum hours (Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.- 3 p.m.) or by appointment - please call or email us to schedule.​

Donations often come from individuals and families wishing to preserve the legacy of relatives who contributed to the film industry and the Hollywood community.  If you have items for consideration, appointments can be arranged. Please call or email us for more information. ​

 

Hollywood Heritage is a California 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In-kind donations may be tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
