In-Kind Donations

Hollywood Heritage gratefully welcomes in-kind donations of books, DVDs, photographs, and other media related to film and Hollywood history.  These generous contributions directly support our mission to preserve, protect, and promote Hollywood's historic architecture, artifacts, and cultural legacy.

How Your Donation Helps

• Added to our permanent collection or archives for research, education, and future exhibitions

• Offered in the Museum Store, with proceeds directly supporting preservation, programming, and public outreach 

 

All materials are carefully reviewed to ensure they align with the our collection guidelines and current needs. ​

​Item's We're Especially Seeking

• Photographs and documentation of Hollywood properties (organized by address in our archives)

• Memorabilia or records connected to Hollywood history and the individuals who shaped it​

Important Information for Donors

• Not all items can be accepted

• Donors are responsible for delivery or shipping unless otherwise arranged

• Hollywood Heritage determines the final use of all donated materials 

 

Drop-offs are accepted during regular museum hours (Saturday & Sunday, 11 a.m.- 3 p.m.) or by appointment.  Please call or email to schedule.​

Many donations often come from families wishing to preserve the legacy of relatives who contributed to the film industry and the Hollywood community.  If you have items for consideration, we're happy to arrange an appointment.

 

Hollywood Heritage is a California 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In-kind donations may be tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
