Hollywood Heritage presented a case for Historic Cultural Monument designation of the Hollywood Center Motel on December 4, 2025 at 10:00 AM at City Hall (200 N. Spring Street, 90012 in downtown L.A.). The Cultural Heritage Commission voted to take the property under consideration and then the main building on the property burned down. The marquee sign and breeze block wall and signage are now under consideration to commemorate the site of the Motel.
