If you love being part of the action, our programs team is the perfect fit. Volunteers play a key roles during events, including:

• Welcoming and directing guests

• Staffing information tables 

• Assisting with ticketing or RSVP check-ins

 

Programs range from parties and book signings to presentations, Silent Society Screenings, and special events.​​

🏛️ Become a Docent

Deepen your understanding of Hollywood history and share it with others. Hollywood Heritage docents lead guided tours of our galleries and exhibitions for diverse audiences during regular museum hours. ​

​

Docent training includes:

• In-person orientation

• Tour script and presentation techniques 

• Shadowing experienced docents

• Ongoing support and enrichment opportunities
