Join us for a rare opportunity to visit Hollywood Heritage's "Hollywood in Miniature" exhibit at our Preservation Resource Center on Hollywood Boulevard. Art Conservator Donna Williams will speak about the vintage model's origins and her efforts to restore it. The miniature, created by wood worker Joe Pellkofer in the 1930s, is a relic from an age when a transportable version of Hollywood attracted supreme interest when it toured to cities around the country. And just wait until the moment when Donna dims the lights and illuminates our tiny Hollywood! We will also learn more about Hollywood Heritage's decades-long involvement in protecting Hollywood's Historic Core, starting with our organization's nomination of the Hollywood Boulevard Economic and Entertainment Historic District in 1985.
This program is offered at 11:00 AM, 12:45 PM.
