About the Event
Hollywood Heritage Museum presents our Summer 2024 exhibit Out with the Stars: Hollywood’s Famous and Forgotten Haunts. The exhibit is thoughtfully curated from Hollywood Heritage Museum’s extensive Hollywood archive and private collections.
Exhibit highlights: Take a trip with us through Hollywood's most memorable hot spots from another era!
Artifacts from legendary venues such as: The Brown Derby, the Cocoanut Grove and Ambassador Hotel, Ciro’s, Perino’s, Chasen’s, Pig’n Whistle, The Earl Carroll Theatre, Don the Beachcomber and more.
The "Hollywood Homefront" gallery proudly displays how stars showed their support to the service men and women, including never before exhibited artifacts from the Hollywood Canteen, the Hollywood Victory Caravan and more.
Traveling with the Stars: a unique display of artifacts from the Santa Fe and Union Pacific railways boarded by Tyrone Power, Mary Pickford, and others.
Tiki Time: Captivated by Tiki culture? So were the stars and Hollywood! Take your photo in our Tiki display, reminiscent of Don the Beachcomber, Pirates Den and Trader Vic’s.
See nightclub outfits worn by some of our favorite celebrities: Mae West, Mary Pickford, Gary Cooper, Jack Cassidy and Cora Sue Collins. Don't miss the fabulous Las Vegas showgirl costumes from casinos where the stars entertained and dined.
