“Silents Under the Stars” Series is in its 38th year, showing classic silent films outdoors under the stars in July and August. This year the series celebrates two centennials. Bring a picnic to the King Gillette Ranch and enjoy the beauty of this natural setting that was once home to silent film director Clarence Brown. The second film in the series, CLASH OF THE WOLVES (1925) is August 17. Admission is complimentary.

Starring Harold Lloyd and Jobyna Ralston. Directed by Fred Newmeyer and Sam Taylor. Pathe. Harold Lamb yearns to attain popularity to impress his sweetheart, but throwing parties doesn’t guarantee the necessary success on the football field. Look for the L.A. Coliseum and the Rose Bowl in the film. They were used for shooting locations.
