This event is free and no RSVP is required. However, it is recommended that you bring your own folding chair if you can. The event is outdoors. Experience the former ranch of film director Clarence Brown. Come early with a picnic or come at dusk for the film.
About the Film
THE TRAIL OF '98 (1928) Thirty years after the Alaska territory was purchased from the Russian Empire, the Klondike Gold Rush of 1897 inspired thousands from around the country and beyond to seek their fortune in its cold, difficult and dangerous terrain. This film, which director Clarence Brown called his most challenging, features thousands of extras and encountered difficult weather and shooting conditions.
