About the Event
Join us for a guided tour of the historic homes and hidden staircases in the neighborhood just up the hill from the Hollywood Heritage Museum (2100 N. Highland Avenue). In addition to seeing the home of Whitley Heights founder Hobart J. Whitley, you will learn about the legendary movie stars, landmarks, architects and designers who worked and lived here during Hollywood's golden age including Rudolph Valentino, Jean Harlow, Francis X. Bushman, Rosalind Russell, Donald O'Connor and many more.
The tour will end at a private home in Whitley Heights that was built in 1921, where we will step back in time to see what the inside of a Whitley Heights home was like. Not to mention, this home once overlooked Rudolph Valentino's home.
This tour will feature views of Hollywood, including the Capitol Records building on Vine Street.
