In honor of the Centenary of Yma Sumac, Hollywood Heritage Museum and Yma-Sumac.com presents a special remastered screening of Paramount Pictures’ SECRET OF THE INCAS starring Charlton Heston and Nicole Maurey and featuring Yma Sumac. The film is believed to be a direct inspiration for the Indiana Jones film franchise.
This is a rare opportunity to see a beautifully remastered print directly from the Paramount Studios vaults. This film has never been available on VHS, DVD or Blu-Ray in the United States!

This ONE DAY ONLY event will feature a display of memorabilia from Yma Sumac’s archives, as well as never before seen images from the film and a Q&A with Damon Devine, friend, formal personal assistant to Yma Sumac and owner of her archives.

Fascinating historical feature. The level of detail and research made this a very enjoyable read. I recently saw https://paygration.com a similar history-focused discussion on a based review blog and appreciated the added perspective.
Thank you for sharing this fascinating look at a classic film. It was interesting to learn more about its history, cultural significance, and lasting appeal. The way you presented the background information made the article engaging for both longtime fans and new readers. I recently came across a similar discussion connected to fake college diploma, and it offered an interesting perspective as well. Posts like this help preserve appreciation for important moments in film history. Great read.
What a rare treat to see this restored classic! The connection to Indiana Jones makes it even more fascinating. It feels like finding a hidden gem, much like solving an arrow puzzle to uncover secrets.
Really enjoyed this post about Secret of the Incas. It’s always fascinating to revisit classic films and learn more about their historical and cultural context, especially how they influenced later adventure cinema. The way you’ve preserved and presented film heritage makes the reading experience both nostalgic and educational. I recently came across a similar discussion on a review blog https://www.goprogaragedoorrepair.com/, and it reminded me how valuable it is to keep older cinematic works alive in public memory. Thanks for sharing this engaging piece.
